Designed as a crossover between mythological character design and daily utility, The Dragon's Keeper required reconciling intricate scales and claws with structural strength. Using high-resolution SLA additive prototyping, we iterated through 8 iterations of arm curvature to guarantee keys and heavy jewelry hang securely without slipping.
Cantilever Stress & Demolding Traps
Projecting claws and tail geometry act as mechanical cantilevers under load, risking brittle fracture. Simultaneously, deep undercuts complicate multi-part silicone tooling.

- ▸Zero visible fastener from the front — completely concealed keyhole wall slot.
SubD Surface Sculpting to Solid Body Conversion
Initial organic sculpts were converted into watertight parametric solids to engineer the internal wall thickness, center-of-gravity balance, and recessed anchor geometry.
Vacuum Degassed Polyurethane & Hand Finish
Each piece is pressure-cast in high-impact hybrid polyurethane to eliminate voids, then post-cured and hand-detailed in our atelier.
